I tend to feel a little arrogant whenever I blog. Why should anybody care what I think or what I do? However, in this digital age, every Tom, Dick and Harry seems to be the proud owner of a blog and so I too have taken it upon myself to create a new space for ramblings. Hopefully I won’t make a complete and utter arse of myself.

Unfortunately, my name isn’t Pollyanna (how I wish it was), it’s Claire. I live closer to Norway than to London and have done since I was about four. I have two poodles and I bake a lot. As you may have guessed given its title, I’m hoping this blog will be one of a rather sunny disposition. I don’t see the point in doing anything if it doesn’t make you happy, make you a better person or make the world a better place as corny as that sounds. So, in this, my little postage stamp of the great expanse of the internet, I hope to employ the same mantra. Its pages shall be filled with bakery triumphs and failures, musings on matters sartorial, Plath and Wilde quotations and amused ramblings. I do hope you like it.
